J.M. (Doc) Lamb, 80, Iberia, sheriff of Miller County from 1912 to 1916, died Monday at his home near Iberia. He had been a farmer since leaving the sheriff's office.
Survivors are his wife, Mary Belle; four sons, Kellis and Charles, both of Crocker, and Joseph and Jack, both of St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Kraml, Iberia and Mrs. Jean Fancher, St. Louis; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday in the Mount View Church of Christ near Iberia. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery with Hedges of Iberia in charge.
