Jeanne Crumm Munzer, 78, of Clinton Corners, and a former longtime resident of Yorktown Heights, died Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at Vassar Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. Mrs. Munzer had retired from Reader's Digest in Pleasantville after 16 years with the company. Following her retirement, Jeanne worked in real estate with Coldwell Banker and later as a sales manager for Co-operative Homes in Yorktown Heights. She continued to work in temporary services as well as employment with the Pennysaver in Poughkeepsie. Born in Chelsea, MA on September 12, 1926 and raised in Everett, MA, she was the daughter of William and Annie Theresa Rogers McGunnigle. Mrs. Munzer was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Bangall, NY. In addition to her husband, Frank Munzer, she is survived by her three children: Mark Crumm and wife, Barbara; Kevin Crumm and his wife, Eva and Doreen Henning ahd her husband, David, all of Yorktown Heights; a foster daughter, Glenda Emmons and her husband, Bob of Schenectady; five stepchildren: Bill Munzer and his wife, Lisa of New Paltz; Maribeth Milne and her husband, Harry of Darien, CT; Alison Gottlieb and her husband, Steve of Arlington, VA; Andrew Munzer and his wife, Amy of S. Windsor, CT, and Nancy Doud and her husband, Richard of Ballston Spa. Also surviving are nine grandchildren from her first marriage and 14 from her second. She was predeceased by her first husband, Martin P. Crumm; brothers: William and Roger McGunnigle and sisters: Doris Caputo, Irene Egan and Ann Hendricks. Friends will be received on Thursday, September 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Allen Funeral Home, 1605 Main St., Pleasant Valley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 am from Immaculate Conception Church, Hunns Lake Rd., Bangall, NY. Interment will follow in Amawalk Hill Cemetery, Yorktown Heights.
