Samuel James Morrow, 35, of Pekin, passed away at 10:43 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born June 3, 1980 in Peoria to Kenneth Lee and Gloria Jean (Hoerr) Morrow. His father died January 25, 2016 in Creve Coeur.
Surviving are his mother, Gloria Pingelton of Pekin; and one sister, Monica (Gary Cave) Holeman of Creve Coeur.
Sam had been employed at Bob Evans in Pekin as a cook.
His memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Mark Utech will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
