Desert Sun Oct 20, 1979 Services will be held Monday for Jessie Lou Carter, 74, of the desert area, who died in Desert Hospital. A native of Georgia, she had lived in the desert for 19 years and in California for 45 years. Mrs. Carter was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by three sons, Paul R. Carter of Palm Springs, Wyatt Carter Jr. of Arcadia, and B. Hutch Carter of Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Mary Alice Monroe of La Quinta, and Barbara Campbell of Sierra Vista, Anz., 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchil-dren. Services will be held at 10 a m. Monday in the Wiefels and Son Mortuary Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Rodney Dean of the Palm Springs Community Church. Interment will be in Desert Memorial Park.
