Diana K. Thompson, 52, of Upper Tract, WV passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at her home. She was born Nov. 4, 1965 in Petersburg, WV and was the daughter of the late Warnie Sites and Anna Crites Sites. A 1984 graduate of Franklin High School, Diana had worked as a secretary at Franklin IGA, and in June of 2009, she began working at Pendleton Community Bank, where she was a deposit operations clerk. Diana loved living on the farm and was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking, helping her husband in his woodworking shop, and taking rides on Sunday afternoons. Some of her best memories were recent trips to Tennessee, the Mid-West, and Amosh country, where she enjoyed shopping at Lehman's Country Store. She was soft spoken and kind to everyone, and was a member of the Smith Creek Church of the Brethren. One of her favorite sayings "Remember How Blessed You Are" was displayed on a shelf above the living room sofa. On June 26, 1987, she married Dempsey Thompson, who survives.
