He was born in Maryville, Tennessee, the son of the late Mr. Cas Crisp and the late Mrs. Bessie Jane Cannon Crisp.
Mr. Crisp was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as a printer for Harlan printing and was a longtime, faithful Tennessee football fan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Joe Crisp and a sister, Bertha Mae.
Mr. Crisp is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Mrs. Duane Dean Crisp of Douglasville; his son, Gregory Michael Crisp of Marietta; a step-son, Mitch Hohn of East Cobb; his sisters, Mary Reaves of Maryville, Tennessee and Josephine Best of Cartersville; his brothers , Coy (Shelby) Crisp and Roy (Arlie) Crisp, all of Maryville, Tennessee; extended generations also survive.
According to Mr. Crisp’s wishes, he will be cremated. A celebration of life family gathering will be held at a later date.
