Michael L. Gibbons, 65, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at his daughter’s residence surrounded by his loving family. Born February 19, 1954 in Manning, he was the son of the late Leslie Whitfield and Jacqueline Lane Gibbons.
He was also predeceased by his wife, Angie Gibbons.
Michael was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. His personality would light up the room when he entered and was always making people laugh. He loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Mr. Gibbons is survived by his daughter, Ashley Ridgeway and her husband John; brothers, Leslie Whitfield Gibbons Jr. and Stephen Lacy Gibbons; grandson, Hunter Ridgeway; several nieces and nephews who were very special to him and many other family and friends who will miss him.
A Graveside Service will be held 11am Monday, January 12, 2020 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Robert Lewis officiating.
The family will receive friends at Ashley’s house after the service.
