Larry G. Nichols, 81, of Vincent, died January 9, 2020, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. Larry was born on September 22, 1938 in Gay, WV, and was the son of the late John Marshall and Dicie Lois Nichols.
Larry graduated from Belpre High School. He had worked as an electrician for Butler Manufacturing/Walker Parkersburg. He was a past member of Little Hocking Bass Masters. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Rae Bills Nichols; daughter Jane Plymale (Mike), of Hurricane, WV; sons John Nichols (Michele) and Brian Nichols both of Vincent; grandchildren Reece, Stacy and Hunter Nichols and Emma Plymale; siblings Juanita McCutcheon (Joe), Orpha Cox, Oval Nichols (Shirley), Faye Griffin (Larry), Charlotte Price (Fred) and Delbert Nichols (Ginny); sister-in-law Lila Nichols.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son David Nichols, brother Charles Nichols and a sister Hazel Burgy.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 13, 2020, 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre, OH, with Pastor George Horner officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belpre. Visitation will be held Monday, 11:00 am until the time of the service.
