Marion Odell Norman, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, June 05, 2018, in Comanche, Texas.

He was born on June 2, 1936, in Archer City, Texas, to Lowell and Grace Mae (Byrd) Norman. On April 7, 1956, he was united in marriage to Vivian A. Stockman in Lubbock. She preceded him in death. Odell was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was good at anything to which he turned his hand. He was a welder, a truck driver, a carpenter, and a former locksmith. Odell was a gunsmith in his “spare” time and enjoyed coin collecting.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Ann Chace of Comanche; sons, Garry Dale Norman of Holliday and Laddie Dean Norman and wife Diana Hankins of Comanche; thirteen grandchildren, including Melissa Kelley, who dedicated the last two month to taking such good care of him; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Charissa Klein of Granbury and Annette Jones of Seagraves. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Grace Norman; brthers, Glenn Norman, Calvin Norman, and Henry Norman; and sisters, Melba Wakefield, Ozell Barker, and Rosita Thompson.
