“Tony” Jared Anthony Butler, 39, entered into rest on Monday, January 6, 2020, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Tony was born to Lonnie Bert and Catherine Marie (Broussard) Butler on November 10, 1980, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Visitation will begin Friday, January 10, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, at Broadlands Bible Church, 6423 US 171, DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2010, visitation will start at 9:00 AM and service will begin at 10:00 AM, at Broadlands Bible Church of DeRidder, LA with Rev. Tim Bergen officiating.
Tony was a most beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He also loved the Lord with his whole heart, and whether he was landscaping with Jeff, or playing nine hole in San Antonio, or teaching the little children at church, he had a joy about life that was contagious.
As a son, Tony was a servant, a constant helper, a lookout and companion. As a brother, Tony was loving, encouraging, a friend and typical little brother. As an uncle, Tony was fun-loving, cool and playful; he could be a kid with the best of them. As a friend, he was supportive, kind and generous. He loved people. He was loved by people. He will be deeply missed and sweetly remembered.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Lonnie Bert and Catherine Marie Butler of DeRidder, LA; two sisters, Miranda Butler-Swanger and husband Brooklyn of Olathe, KS, Angela Lewis of San Antonio, TX; and a host of nieces and a nephew.
