It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Kent Russell announces his passing on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020, at the age of 53. He was born Nov. 21, 1966, in El Reno to Donald Russell and Susie (Catto) Henry.
He was preceded in death by both his parents and grandparents, Bill and Wilma Edwards and Willie and Clora Russell.
Paul was a devoted husband and grandfather, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and taking them fishing. He was meticulous in everything he did, he instilled that in every aspect of his life which made him the man he is today.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; grandparents, Bill & Wilma Edwards, Willie & Clora Russell.
Paul was a devoted husband and grandfather, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and taking them fishing. He was meticulous in everything he did, he instilled that in every aspect of his life which made him the man he is today. Hobbies included fishing, hunting and barbequing for family. He loved family get togethers where he could show off his cooking skills. Paul was employed with Bison Oilfield Services and throughout his career he worked many jobs including construction and for the City of El Reno.
Survivors include the love of his life, wife, Barbara (Wynn) Russell; stepchildren, William (Billy) Ross, Monica Ross, Colby Engel; grandchildren, Nora, Wyatt & Baylen Ross; brother, Donnie Russell wife Tracy; sisters, Melissa Pike husband Tim, Aimee Shannon husband Bo, Deana Bond husband Kenny, Michelle Henry; stepfather, Richard Henry, many loved nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Paul Kent Russell will be held at 2:00p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Fresh Anointing Church in El Reno, with burial in El Reno Cemetery. A reception and visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00p.m.-7:00p.m., Monday, January 13. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
