David Wayne Major, 57, of Bentonville passed away January 6, 2020 in Rogers. He was born April 23, 1962 in Rogers, the son of the late Carl and Shirley Mae Townzen Major. David graduated from Rogers High School and was a Plasma Machining Operator for Pratt & Whitney in Springdale. He served in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife Michele Genova Major of the home; children Courtney Young of Bella Vista and Brandon Major of Bentonville; step children Cassie and Kimberly Hulsey both of Bentonville, Holly Rawlings of Brookings, Oregon and Ronnie Wilburn of Portland, Oregon; his siblings Myrna Massengale of Fort Meyers, Florida, Karla Meeker of Rogers and Steve Townzen of Cassville, Missouri; grandchildren Kya and Declan Brewer, Kolby Young, Aiden Wooten and Teagan Major; mother in law Louise Genova of Rogers and sister in law Karen Holderness of Bella Vista. Visitation will be 5:00 to 6:30 Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St, Rogers. Funeral Services will be held at the Benton County Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2020. Contributions may be made to the Rogers Animal Shelter.
