and was not ready to go. Sally was the daughter of the late E. Frank Gardner and Bessie Erminie Prouty Gardner of Rockland. Born November 14, 1924, Sally graduated from Rockland High School, the class of 1942. She attended Burdett Business College and graduated in 1944. Her career began at Waldorf Systems, Inc., Boston, as a secretary and after five years, returned to Rockland to work at the Rockland Trust Company for 41 years as an administrative assistant. Sally served as a eucharistic minister for three years and enjoyed going to the Rockland Senior Center and was a past president of the Golden Agers. She enjoyed eating out, especially with the "Lunch Bunch" once a month. She loved her flower garden and sitting in the yard and watching the flowers and birds on a sunny day. But most of all she enjoyed her pets which were many over the years. Her love at her death was Lucy, her 11-year old toy poodle who she doted on.
