Grandmother Axt, mother of Christian Axt, died last Friday morning at the ripe old age of 83. Funeral last Saturday by Rev. Torrance.
Fred Axt of Martinsville, came over to attend the funeral of his mother and remained a few days with his brother, Christian, of this city.

Mrs. Amelia Axt died on Thursday night at her residence in this city, at the advanced age of 83 years. The funeral services took place at the house on Saturday.
