Anna is the daughter of Leopold Feight and Bertha Walz. In the earliest census records she was referred to as Dolly Elizabeth. She is a sister to Elga, Mary Agatha, Will A and Walter Paul Feight. Their father choked to death on a piece of meat in 1911.

Anna married Ivan Malchow on 23 Feb 1927 in Burlington, IA. They eventually divorced. The 1930 census shows her as a patient in the Women's Infirmary of the State Hospital for the Insane in Mount Pleasant, IA. Afterwards she apparently resided with her mother in Lewistown, MT and from there came to the Warm Springs asylum.
Anna was in care here 4 mo 24 days before dying of tuberculosis of the lungs and larynx.

Anna's brother, Walter, would commit suicide by gunshot in 1943. Her ex-husband, Ivan, would die in a housefire in 1947.
