Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with this grandsons, riding his Harley, and restoring old cars. He was a very caring man who never missed an opportunity to call and check on his family and friends, even when he didn’t have much to say. He was a devoted husband to Wanda for 33 years.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Beck Morgan, of the home; his stepfather Leroy Mayes of Saint Paul; a special mother-in-law, Shirley Patrick of Combs; one daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Matthew Core of Fayetteville; three handsome grandsons whom he adored, Noah, Wyatt and Kru Core of Fayetteville; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Phillip Morgan of Alabam, and Dan and Judy Morgan of Fayetteville; five sisters and three brother-in-laws, Shirley and Richard Norton of California, Pam and Ervin Kimball of St. Paul, Peggy and Darrell Lackey of Combs, Brenda Haught and Mesha Smith both of St. Paul. He is also survived by 13 nephews, 14 nieces, 7 great-nephews, 5 great-nieces and a host of in-laws and friends who adored him.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 11 a.m. at Brashears Funeral Home with T.J. Bennett officiating. Interment will be at Morgan Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Morgan, Shane Kimball, Sheldon Lackey, Shawn Smith, Shad Haught and Tyler Morgan. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Morgan, Richard Canady, Jason Beck and Cody Bersi.
