Nancy Elizabeth Holland, of Conyers, passed away January 8, 2020, at 81 years of age. Ms. Holland was born October 21, 1938, in Whitney, TX, to Curtis and Ruby Nowlin. Since 1999, she was a vital and dedicated member of Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church, in Mansfield. Serving others was ingrained in her spirit and was an integral part of her life. In her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, Ms. Holland was able to demonstrate daily her deep capacity to nurture and care for her family. In keeping with her desire to be close to her children while also helping to provide, she worked at various jobs, including the school cafeteria, where her daughters and sons attended. In later years, Ms. Holland worked at Burlington Industries and Walmart. Her hobbies -sewing, crocheting, gardening and cooking- showcased her many talents, and she was known for sharing her handmade items and goodies. Ms. Holland was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lily Holland; parents, Curtis and Ruby Nowlin; sisters, Rachael Nowlin, Christine Funderburk; and brothers, Reuban Nowlin, Benny Nowlin, Lloyd Nowlin

Ms. Holland, and the memories she created, will remain in the hearts of many, especially her daughters and son-in-law, Kathy Harmon of Black Rock, AK, Cindy and Tim Ferrell of Wilmar, AK; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Laurie Hall of Stockbridge, GA, Floyd and Judy Hall of Conyers, GA, Micah Holland of Macon, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Fred O’Meara of Tallapoosa, GA; twin brother and his wife, Joel and Ruth Nowlin of Ackerman, MS; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, plus 2 soon-to-be; 1 great-great-grandchild, plus 2 soon-to-be; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as numerous friends and a loving and caring church family.

A Funeral Service for Ms. Holland will be held Sunday, January 12, 2020, 3:00 P.M., at Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church, 65 Shoals Creek Church Road, in Mansfield, with Bro. Jimmy Fulmer officiating and interment following in the church cemetery. Friends may visit with her family at the church, two hours prior to the service, from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
