Carol Jean Meadows, 68, of Rock, died Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Mrs. Meadows was a homemaker and a member of Ridgeview Church of God in Lashmeet. She enjoyed making crafts and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Born April 25, 1951 in Bluefield, she was the daughter of Marie Hylton-Lowe (B. 1933) of Rock and the late Leonard Lee Lowe, Sr. (1930-2005). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Leonard Lee Lowe, Jr. (1965-2016).
Survivors include two sons, Mike Utley & fiancé Lori Williams of Lillington, NC and Tim Meadows of Rock; two brothers, Tom Lowe & wife Cheryl Lowe of Broadway, NC and John Lowe of Cameron, NC; one sister, Patty Lowe-Roberts & husband Brent of Smithfield, NC; five grandchildren, Crystal Moore, Shelby Hollingsworth, Sharon Windham, Kayley Meadows and Ryan Meadows; and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor L.A. Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 11, 2020 from noon until service hour at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
