Ken's ashes were buried in his mother's plot at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Batavia, Illinois, in 2014.∼ Kenneth L. Lombard, 46, of Kingsland, Texas, succumbed to cancer on the 28th of July 2006 surrounded by family and friends. He was born May 26, 1960 in Aurora, IL to Laurence E. and Bonnie L. (Johns) Lombard. Kenneth was a 1978 graduate of East Aurora High School. He loved sports, coaching and his children. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He will be fondly remembered as a caring helpful person. He married Linda Davis February 3, 1979, in Aurora, Illinois, and is the father of Timothy (Melissa) Lombard of San Antonio, Texas; Christina and Cassandra Lombard of Batavia, Illinois. He is survived by his current wife, Phyllis Marple Lombard of Kingsland, Texas, whom he married on November 16, 1966; three children mentioned above; his mother, Bonnie Lombard of Lake Mary, Florida; three sisters, Dianne (Richard) Popdan of Summerville, South Carolina, Mary Lombard of Fairview, Oregon and Judy Biederman of Longwood, Florida; a brother, Dennis Lombard of Melbourne, Florida; mother of his children, Linda Davis Lombard of Batavia, Illinois; mother-in-law, Margaret Goodwin of Marble Falls, Texas; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Laurence Lombard.
