Anthony - Mary Alice Minton, 68, passed away January 7, 2020. She was born December 31, 1951, in Palatka, FL, to Curtis James Cannon and Sarah Nettie Mae Taylor Cannon, she moved from Palatka to Ocala in 1969 and then later to Anthony. She retired from the City of Ocala Electric Utilities as a Customer Service Supervisor.
She is survived by her loving husband, Herman E. Minton; sons, Jeff Minton, Herman Minton, Justin Gilmore; daughters, Anne Marie Minton, Casey Bowman, Diane Minton; brothers, Gerald Cannon, Roy Cannon, Robbie Cannon, Kenny Cannon; and sister Patricia Smith.
The family will receive friends for visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
A private family graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2020, in Anthony Cemetery, Anthony, FL, with Reverend Dwayne Williams officiating.
