Anthony was employed by Charles Yon Body Shop at an early age. He left to start a successful auto body shop of his own before starting a career as a firefighter. Anthony joined the City of Columbia Fire Department where he served until he retired.
Anthony was a very loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. He loved traveling, drag racing cars, Harley Davidsons, family and friends, and giving back to the community. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends, Tory Rhone, Darren Spann, Jahone Samuels, and Gripp.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Leon Adams, Jr.; sister, Andrea K. Montgomery; two grandmothers, Lillie H. Stewart and Ruthfine D. Adams; aunt, Mary Ruth Stewart; grandfather, Adam Stewart; and cousin, Gary Harris.
