William H. Ruscio, 72, lifelong South Bend resident, passed away at 12:53 pm Tuesday, January 7, 2020 in Niles, MI. He was born July 25, 1947 in South Bend to the late Harold and Daryl (Quimby) Ruscio.

William served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict from 1965-1968. He was employed as an operator at Steel Warehouse Company for 16+ years prior to retiring in 2009.

On August 8, 2008 in Mishawaka, William married the former Patricia (Patty) A. McClellan, who survives. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by daughters, Pamela S. Tindal of Cameron, NC and Traci L. Ruscio of South Bend; son, William J. (Debbie) Ruscio of Hawaii; stepson, Andrew D. (Danielle) McClellan of South Bend; and grandchildren, Quinten, Eva, George and Samantha Ruscio, Christopher and Josalynn Tindal and Emily and Drake McClellan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela S. Ruscio; and brother, Phillip Ruscio.

Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with cremation services. Graveside services with military honors will take place at Southlawn Cemetery at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 11, 2020.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of William may be donated to National Kidney Foundation, 911 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
