Funeral services for Court Van Arsdol, 76, well-known Muncie resident, who died yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Kenneth McKibben, 330 North Pershing drive, following an illness of several months, will be conducted at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Meeks mortuary, the Rev. Arthur McDavitt in charge. Cremation will follow.

Mr. Van Arsdol served as deputy city controller during the Bunch administration and was a former secretary of Munsyana Homes. He was a member of St. Johns Universalist Church and the Traveler's Protective Association.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. McKibben, and Mrs. J. M. Ruppertt of Winnemucca, Nev.; one brother, Newton Van Arsdol of Roanoke, Ind.; and two grandchildren, Mrs. Joan Horner of Muncie and Jack Walling, A. E. M. 2/c, stationed at Seattle, Wash. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon.

According to his death certificate, he was cremated.
