He was reported Missing in Action after an attack on Regina Trench, near Courcelette, France on October 08/09. 1916, and later reported to be a prisoner of war. He was repatriated to England in November, 1918. Harry was demobilized at London, England on April 10, 1919, with the stated intention of living in Ireland. By 1922, though, he had returned to Canada, settling near Estevan, Saskatchewan.
