Carolyn Dickerson Elliott, 74, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, at Farmington Hills, Mich., of natural causes.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Roland Butler Jr. officiating.
Burial will be at Pembroke Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Gamble Funeral Home.
A native of Pembroke, she was born Feb. 19, 1945, the daughter of the late Otis Dickerson and Alta Dupee Dickerson.
She was an assembly line worker at General Motors and a member of St. Bethlehem Baptist Church in Pembroke.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elliott.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Pollard, Detroit; her son, Kevin Dickerson, Pittsburg, Penn.; her step daughter, Carolyn Elliott, Clarksville; her stepson, Fitzgerald Elliott, Clarksville; her sisters, Annette (Esau) Henry, Savannah, Ga., Sandra Burise, Little Rock, Ark., Lorriane Dickerson, Pembroke; her brothers, Austin (Faye) Buckner and Otis (Josephine) Dickerson, Lawton, Okla., James (Diane) Dickerson, Hopkinsville, Gregory (Carmelita) Dickerson, Marino Valley, Calif., Michael (Vivian) Dickerson, Palmetto, Fla., Lavaughn Dickerson, Clarksville, Ind.; three grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
