"The first Lord [Keane] was second son of Sir John Keane, Bart., of Belmont, Co., Waterford, who was b. 1757, d. 18 April 1829; having m. twice, 1st, in 1778, to Sarah, daughter of John Keiley, Esq., of Belgrove, and, after her decease, 2ndly, in 1804, to Dorothy, widow of Philip Champion de Crespigny, Esq., who d. 5 July 1837."
Dorothy and Sir John had a son, George Michael Keane. Her portrait was painted by George Romney. It now resides in the John Howard McFadden Collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
