He was a 1973 graduate of North Natchez Adams High School and he also attended Co-Lin Community College. Larry enjoyed hunting and shooting pool.
He is preceded in death by his father; brother, Napoleon Johnson and sister, Bobbye Ann Roddy.
Survivors include his mother; three sons, Troy Hayes and wife Lakisa, Larry Matthews, Jr., and wife Kiera, and Michael T.
