Elizabeth Webb, 83, of Soddy – Daisy, died Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at her home.

Elizabeth was born in Woodstock, Alabama but had lived in Chattanooga for the past 25 years. She was retired from Chattanooga Imaging with 20 years of service. She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church. Her main purpose in all her jobs was to help others .She was active in church all of her life. She taught Sunday School, led youth groups and played the piano at church since she was a child. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rossie Chesser.

Survivors include her husband, James D. Webb, Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Debbie Beavert, Dunlap; three grandchildren, Benjamin (Celina) Rigsby, Charlotte, NC; Leah (Stephen) Locklear, Fayetteville, NC; Hannah (Dakota) West, Jacksonville, NC; four great grandchildren,Elizabeth Locklear, Seth Locklear, Leo Rigsby and Emma Rigsby, two stepchildren, Brian Webb and Melissa Phillips, two step grandchildren, Preston Webb and Tanner Phillips, and one great grandson due in April. several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday in the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Leroy Webb and Reverend Bobby Webb officiating, Interment will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
