Lloyd Wayne Lewis, age 86, of Yukon, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Born February 12, 1933, in Marlow, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Samuel S. Lewis and Lessie J. (Medcalf) Lewis. Lloyd attended Marlow High School and was a star football player. After graduating, he joined the United States Navy and served during the Korean Conflict on the U.S. Tucker. He met his wife Bette (McCown) and was married September 20, 1958. Lloyd moved with his family to Trinidad, Peru, Wyoming, Louisiana, & Oklahoma over the course of his career in the oil field. He loved to roller skate, ride motorcycles, flying remote-control airplanes, taking care of his yard & animals, watching O.U. foot-ball, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Lessie, his brothers, Stanley Lewis, Mark Lewis, John Lewis, sister, LaVeta Hargett, and his wife, Bette. Lloyd is survived by his brother Murril Lewis of Marlow, OK, his son, Ricky DeLong of Kilgore, TX, his daughter, Kathy Passarelli and her husband Mike, of Yukon, OK, his grandchildren, Trinette Leidy, Justin Delong, Courtney Hooker, Kristina and Lindsay Mitchell, Alicia Lewis and Joseph Passarelli, along with several nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Ingram, Smith & Turner in Yukon, OK on Friday, January 10, 2020, with funeral services Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Marlow Cemetery, Marlow, OK.
