Delores Jean “Jeannie” Calvert

Jeannie Calvert, 75, of Bedford passed away January 2, 2020 at her residence. Born March 24, 1944 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Elmer and Oweedah “Sissy” (Sowders) Butcher.
She was a graduate of Needmore High School. Jeannie was a realtor and later retired as a regional hotel manager.
Surviving are her son, Eric Calvert and fiancé Shelby Craig of Bloomfield; one daughter, Tonya Bartz (Calvert) of Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Blake Calvert, Braden Calvert, Penelope Bartz, and Gracie Bartz; three brothers, Roger Butcher, Rick (Toni) Butcher, Tim (Kelly) Butcher; as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 11, 2019 at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Phil Thorne officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral chapel.
