Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Crown Point Church, Rural Vandalia, IL, with Pastor Pete LeDuc officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Vandalia, IL. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, January 13, 2020, at Crown Point Church, Rural Vandalia, IL and 1 hr. prior to the service on Tuesday. Memorials: Educational Fund for baby Huntlee, Vandalia Volunteer Fire Dept., and/or Correctional Peace Officers Foundation. Miller Funeral Home, Vandalia, IL, is in charge of arrangements. He was born December 4, 1987, in Baton Rouge, LA, the son of Brian Clifford Lewis and Shirley Jean (Deshotel) Lewis. Married Melissa D. Evans August 17, 2019, in Vandalia, IL. He was a Correctional Officer at Vandalia Correctional Center; Member of Crown Point Church; Vandalia Volunteer Fire Dept.; and Fayette County IL EMA DIVE Team.

He is survived by: Father - Brian C. & Carol S. Lewis, Vandalia, IL; Mother - Shirley Jean Lewis, Covington, LA; Wife - Melissa Lewis, Vandalia, IL; Daughter - Huntlee Gloria Lewis (on-the-way); Brother - Tom DePaolo & Julie, Vandalia, IL and Gregory Dylan Sessions, Ingram, TX; Sisters - Stacie Lynn Pelegrinis & Andy, Plaquemine, LA, Cedeste Rebecca Lewis, Prairieville, LA, Jade Sessions & Shawn Hayes and Jasmine Sessions & Nicholas Holstein, all of San Diego, CA; Paternal Grandmother - Carol Rebecca Ladner, Bay St. Louis, MS; and Mother-in-law - Janice Evans, Vandalia, IL.
