Born March 25, 1986, in Noblesville to Donald and Brenda (Chapman) Lynch, he was a 2004 graduate of Hamilton Heights High School and attended Lincoln Technical College. He married Brittany Nicole Elliott on Aug. 21, 2010. Chris worked in corrections with the Madison County Sheriff's Department at the Madison County Jail. He always looked for ways to help others. He enjoyed video games, anything with wheels, and having fun. More than anything, he loved his family and absolutely adored being a father.
Chris's family includes wife, Brittany N. Lynch of Elwood; two children, Kaden Lee Lynch (10) and Payson Grace Lynch (6), both at home; parents, Donald and Brenda Lynch of Noblesville; mother-in-law, Sheila Elliott; maternal grandparents, Leon and Diana Chapman; half-sister, Darla (Jeffrey) Ooley; half-brother, Donald (Camilla) Lynch; nine aunts and uncles; two brothers-in-law; four nephews; two nieces; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Lynch; maternal grandmother, Kay Skinner; father-in-law, Roy Elliott; and cousin, Michael Crooks.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood and burial following in St. Joseph Cemetery.
