He is survived by his 2 daughters, Kayla (Kegan Reynolds) Curtis and Abigail Curtis; son, Cayden Curtis; significant other, Melissa McNabb and her children, Andrew and Alex; mother and step-father, Becky (Randy) Beal; siblings, Tonya (Korbie) Castle and Josh (Amanda Mitchell) Curtis; 2 nephews, Jared Curtis and Corey (Kacie May) Hoag; 3 grand puppies, Roxie, Brooks and Murphy; numerous extended family and dear friends.
Dan was a HUGE fan of the Michigan Wolverines football team and the Cleveland Browns. He coached his son’s basketball team and his daughter’s soccer and basketball team, better known as "the basketball mom". Dan enjoyed playing slow pitch softball for many years and was an avid golfer and loved to fish. He was well respected at CE Power and was previously at Schneider Electric formerly known as Square D. Dan loved heading to Florida for his beach vacations.

Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Newcomer Centerville, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, OH 45459. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 10 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memorial Gardens.
