Tommy Haynes

Memorial services for Tommy Loyd Haynes will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 in the El Reno Cemetery with Rev. Paul Roach officiating. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.

Mr. Haynes passed away Dec. 31, 2019, at the age of 72. Tom was born in Woodward on Nov. 26, 1947, to Loyd β€œBud” and Loretta Lair Haynes. He was raised in El Reno. He attended school in El Reno and graduated high school in 1966. He graduated from El Reno Junior College in 1968 and from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford in 1971 with a bachelor’s degree in business and commercial art. He retired from Comp Source of Oklahoma in February 2012.

Tommy loved going to the lakes in Oklahoma with his family and riding his motorcycle. His hobbies were building military models and painting. With these models he created war scenes of World War II. He painted beautiful pictures that are a part of family and friends homes.

His parents preceded him in death.

Tommy loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Penny of 44 years; daughter and son-in-law, Brooke and Mitchell Bundy; son and daughter-in-law, Hunter and Laura Haynes; and grandchildren, Loftyn and Luke Bundy, who were his delight.
