Graveside service for Bettie Ruth Dycus, age 83 of Milan, will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 2 pm at the Poplar Grove Cemetery near Dyer.
She was born on September 24, 1935 to Miles Edward and Flossie Irene Shannon in Milan. Other than her parents, Bettie was preceded in death by her husband Billy Dycus, a daughter Sherry Dycus and one brother Edward Donald “Don” Shannon. She is survived by two sons Chris Dycus (Gina) of Milan, and Robin Dycus of Bradford, one brother Scotty Shannon of Milan, three sisters Edna Duncan of Milan, Gay Overcast of Humboldt and Linda Curry of Milan, three grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
