Alfred Gage, 63, died at his home, route 2, near the airport, at 8 a.m. Thursday after a long illness. He was born in Elgin, Ia., Sept. 27, 1875 and had resided in Cedar Rapids for fifteen years. Surviving is a son, Richard, Cedar Rapids, and two sisters, Mrs. John Baldwin of Elgin and Mrs. Sarah Shop, Castalia. Funeral services will be held in the Beatty chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday, with burial in Linwood cemetery.
