Ada Franke Cooley of Blanco passed away December 2, 2019 at the age of 100. Ada was a member of the Blanco United Methodist Church, The Blanco – Spring Branch Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Ground Observers Corp During World War II in which she earned her wings.

Ada was born to Bernhardt “Ben” and Ella Nickel Franke on March 28, 1919. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Sam Cooley; two sons, J.R. Cooley and Floyd Cooley; two sisters, Rose Stahl and Roma Brandt; three brothers, Herman Franke, Bill Franke and Alvin Franke.

She is survived by sons, Bill and Ronnie as well as 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 22 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday December 5, 2019 at Blanco United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the Blanco Historic Cemetery.
