Funeral services for Virgil V. Brinson, 74, 903 Mesquite, a resident of Corpus Christi since 1919, who died in a local hospital early yesterday morning were to be yesterday at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Peel-Jackson Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. T. A. Binford and the Rev. Roy Clark officiating. Burial was to be in Seaside Memorial Park.

A native of Louisiana, Brinson was a member of Morgan Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife; four sons, Bradford B. and George V. of Corpus Christi; Gay C. of Chicago, and Floyd B. Brinson of Chicago; two brothers, Phillip E. Brinson of Frost, Texas and Bus Brinson [A. W.] of Homer, La.; one sister, Mrs. Hamilton Wilson of Ringgold, La., and two grandchildren.
