Belding- Juan M. Guillen, 94, of Belding, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at home, where he resided with his great-great-grandson, Toby Adams. Juan was born June 24, 1918, in Laredo, Texas, the son of Feliciano and Julia (Martinez) Guillen.

He graduated from Laredo High School with the Class of 1934. He later served his country during World War II in the United States Air Force as a sergeant. Juan had worked as an electrician for 33 years at Gibson's. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding.

Juan was preceded by his parents; two sons, Cookie and Johnnie, and his wife, Petra. He is loved and survived by his grandchildren, Mary Lou and Ross Taylor, Patricia Huff, James and Pam Juarez, Steven Juarez, Brenda Juarez, Ron Juarez; 10 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; and a multitude of extended family members throughout the United States.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Father Phil Shangraw officiating. Committal prayers will follow at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
