Ricky Franklin Brooks, age 54 of Tuscumbia, died Thursday, December 29, 2016. Ricky was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan Roll Tide! “He was the joy of our lives”.
Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Richard Franklin Brooks, sisters, Dorothy Borden, Gracie Hester and brother, 'Wayne' Brooks.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Leola Boatwright Brooks, brother; J. C. Brooks and wife Venisa, sisters; Brenda Williams, Gail Reeves and; a host of nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends Sunday, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Seth Hood officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Justin Brooks, Marshall Brooks, Donald Williams, Tim Inman, Clay Inman, Jalen Johnson, Jerry Howard and Ryan Rikard.
