Sheila Mae Sharp from Waynesville, Ohio won her race to meet Jesus on January 4, 2020. Sheila was born September 9, 1937, in Huntington, West Virginia and had just celebrated her 82th birthday. Sheila was a homemaker, with wonderful sewing skills. She also would keep kids to help working mom's out. She and Harold opened their home to children who needed a place to stay to keep them safe and encourage them in the ways of Christ. After her children were grown, she worked at the hospital and later delivered newspapers. She was a member of the Church of God, and loved God with her whole heart. She has served as the Christian Education secretary for many years. If asked, "What instrument do you play?" She would say, "The radio." She always said that she couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, but had forgotten that with Alzheimers…so she would sing. She was the energizer bunny, walking 18 hours a day.

Her surviving loved ones are children: Carolyn Perfetti, Rodney (Sheila) Sharp, Sam (Sonia) Sharp and Annetta (Sam) Atwell. Sheila had 6 grandchildren: Tina, Scott, Steven, Eric, Jacob and Jessica and 13 great grandchildren. Sister: Retah Fortner Hunt Nelson, and a brother-in-law William Randolph Sharp. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Harold Lee Sharp, Father, Frank Fortner and Mother, Susie Marie Akers Fortner. Sister, Hattie Lolene Fortner Meredith and Wanda B. Fortner Rencsok.

Memorial Service will be at Stratford Heights Church of God, 4419 Nelson Rd., Middletown, OH. Interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Avon, Ohio. Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH. spouse provided by 51443167
