Jack Harrell Cox, 88, died on December 24, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended school in Harlan, Iowa and served as Senior Class President. He spent summers on his grandparents farm. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed in Northerrn England during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge from the military, he lived in California where he met his future wife. They were married on June 23, 1956. He worked for Pacific Bell in California as a telephone company technician. He later transferred to Southwestern Bell in Oklahoma where the family moved first to Muskogee, then Tulsa, and finally Fort Gibson, Lake. He is survived by his daughter, daughter-in-law, two grandsons, sister, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrell and Sylvia (Sorensen) Cox; wife, Robert (Halsne) Cox; sister, Betty Wiuff; and son Jack "Bill" Cox. Funeral: 10:00 a.m. December 31, 2019 at the RiverCrest Chapel, Bixby.
