He was born April 10, 1939, in Warren, the son of Arlie Jackson Cline and Florence Brannon Cline of Newton Falls, from where he graduated in 1957. He went on to graduate from Cleveland Engineering Institute. He owned and operated Cline’s Greenhouse until 1964. He also worked for Servomation, L&K Restaurant, Anderson’s Appliance and Lee’s Appliance. He was a member of Cornerstone Chapel and attended various Bible studies. He was also quite talented in home projects and square dancing.
David is survived by his son, Raymond Dale Cline; daughter, Deanna Lynn Cline; grandchildren, Christine and Lucas; stepson, Brian Stoneburner; stepdaughter, Jean Lydon; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charlotte P. Stoneburner; son, Curtis Jay Cline; and brothers, Ernest Art Cline and Virgil Alan Cline.
Private interment will be in North Jackson Cemetery.
