Ollie Mae Henderson was a life-long member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was educated in the Rockdale County Public School System.
Mother Henderson, beside her hsband, made sure their children were raised and worked in the church. She was active member of Macedonia Baptist Church and served faithfully with the following ministries: Pastor's Aide, Board, Senior Choir, Mass Choir, Mother's Board, Women's Ministry and Director of the Willie Henderson, Sr Memorial Academic Scholarship Fund. She loved to hear the Word proclaimed and good gospel singing. You would often hear her singing or humming some of her favorite hymns---Blessed Assurance, Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross, Pass Me Not Oh Gentle Savior, I Need Thee Every Hour, Amazing Grace and His Eye is on the Sparrow. She loved her beautiful flowers and sitting on her front porch.
A Celebration of Life service was held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 30, 2007 at the Macedonia Baptist Church, Conyers GA.
