Sandra Jane Griffin, 55, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Friday, January 3, 2020, in Nashville, Georgia.

Funeral services were held 2 PM, Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, with Pastor R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment was in Riverbend Cemetery, Irwin County.

Ms. Griffin was born March 15, 1964, in Irwin County, Georgia, to Herman Wayne & Ethel Grace Steverson Griffin. She was a 1983 graduate of Irwin County High School. She worked at Gaskins IGA Meat Market in Nashville and attended Victory in Christ Ministries.

She is survived by her parents, Herman & Ethel Griffin of Ocilla; siblings and their spouses: Cynthia & Lance Swearingen of Ocilla, Julie Griffin of Ocilla, Justin & Dana Griffin of Quitman, and Jeffrey Griffin of Reno, Nevada; nephews and nieces: Evan Griffin, Oliver Griffin, Sam Griffin, Paul Swearingen, April Swearingen, and Shelby Griffin. She was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Griffin as well as her beloved pug, Tiny. Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
