Charles D Bickley 76 a resident of Skagit County for the past 35 years, died Thursday, June 30 1977 at Everett General Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident May 29 near Burlington. He was Born Aug 1401900 in Emporia Kansas and cam to Washington in 1918, His marriage to Vivian Hake took place May 12, 1934 in Wapato. The couple moved to Bow in 1942 and had resided in Burlington and Samish Island until moving to Sedro Wolley in 1976, Mr Bickley was a retired Crane operator and member of Operating Engineers Local 30, Seattle. He was also a member of the Bow Church of Christ.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Clifford (Sherry) Hart, Burlington, two sons, Charles, anchorage, Alaska and Terry, Sedro Wolley; seven grandchildren; one sister, Effie Holmes, Grandview and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian in 1962.
The family suggests memorials to the Bow Church of Christ.
