Mrs. Matilda Boyd died here Sunday, June 23. Mrs. Boyd was born in October 1842, is more than 86 years of age at the time of their death. She was making her home here with Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Corley, being the grandmother of Mrs. Corley.
Body was prepared for burial by Kinney Undertaking Company and the funeral was held at Funston, Monday at 10 a.m. A.R. Lawrence of Abilene conducted the service. Interment was made at the Funston cemetery.
