She was a lifetime resident of Genoa and was a retired cook and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary May.
Doris was a loving, caring and considerate person, who was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved to fish and enjoyed working in her garden, but most of all cherished the time spent with her family.
She is survived by five sons, Gary May of Genoa, Arkansas; Rickey May and his wife Fonza of Fouke, Arkansas; Stephen May and his wife, Donna of Genoa, Arkansas; Timothy May and his fiancé, Courtney Hagen of Okemah, Oklahoma; Mark May and his wife Tracy of Atlanta, Texas; one brother, David Odem of Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of friends and other relatives.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Rock Springs Cemetery
