Myrtle Lee Goforth Taylor, age 90, of Morrilton, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020. She was born May 4, 1929 in England, Arkansas, a daughter of the late William Goforth and the late Clara Brucks Goforth. She was a charter member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church. She was a very selfless mother, grandmother and friend. She loved the Lord, was always busy within her church and community, and was a true giver. She loved her puppy Zach.

Survivors include her daughters Brenda (Dick) Davis of Little Rock and Gerri (Ricky) Spires of Morrilton, sons Kenneth (Kathy) Taylor of Pottsville and Randal (Debbie) Taylor of Birdtown, grandchildren Tonya Davis, Shawn Davis, Lance Spires, Jared Spires, Clay Taylor, Kaleb Taylor, and Jessica Smelser, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, her brothers Bob (Ann) Goforth of Alabama, Gary Goforth of Little Rock, and sisters Barbara Blythe of Cabot, Reba (Roy) Summerlin of Cabot. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Eugene Taylor, sister Lois Summerlin, and brother John W. “Billy” Goforth.
