David L. Hermany, 67, of Center Valley, PA, passed away on Thursday January 17th, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, in Allentown. He was the son of Jane M. Hermany and the late Paul L. Hermany, M.D. David was a graduate of Southern Lehigh High School, class of 1969 and attended Cornell University. He was an accomplished classical pianist - notably, he performed Haydn's Piano Concerto in D Major, with the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, at the age of 11. David was well known in the Lehigh Valley, having spent his career working in the hospitality industry at many area restaurants. He was an avid record collector, jazz enthusiast, and enjoyed spending time in the summers at the Jersey Shore. He was a member of St. Michael Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Nativity in Allentown. He is survived by his mother; son, Sean Charles Hermany of Salt Lake City, UT; brothers Paul R. M.D. (Hilltown), Robert L. (Chicago); and sister, Ann M. (Gulph Mills.) David was predeceased by his sister, Susan (Hermany) Aronchick, of Villanova. Private services will be held.
